Let me rephrase "footrub"
What in fact occurred was an hour of reflexology foot, leg, arm, head, and neck massage. All for $13 US dollars. A-mazing. I will certainly be Thai's believe that massages should be viewed as part of good health not just a luxury so they have these shops everywhere (not to be confused with "Thai massage parlors" where more than just massages occur...).
